PUSH, a wearable fitness tech company that works with more than 20,000 pro and Olympic-level athletes, is launching a consumer-focused training platform to help athletes to build strength and to improve their conditioning with sport-specific programming.
The company is teasing out their pre-sale launch on their new @PUSHAthlete Instagram account.
The product is designed to help athletes use existing equipment or bodyweight to do connected workouts and to take the guesswork out of their training regimes with smart technology.
PUSH Athlete is combining the science and technology garnered from its work with professional and Olympic-caliber athletes with a Master Coach strength and conditioning programming to help users improve their performance, no matter their sport.
The PUSH Athlete product focuses on four key elements of athleticism: strength, power, speed, and endurance. Users are benchmarked when they first start using the product, and reevaluated every two weeks. AI-driven recommendations are part of the feedback loop.
Through real-time data and analytics, the athlete knows exactly where they are at in their personalized program. Strength and conditioning plans developed by some of the world’s best sport-specific coaches in the world are also part of the offering. Users will be able to connect one-on-one with a Master Coach via the inbox feature for advice while tracking their progress against friends and teammates.
The PUSH Athlete system will be available for pre-order in the next few weeks.
PUSH has been in business for 6 years and has built up an impressive client list that includes Chelsea, and Tottenham Hotspur of the Premier League
The Irish Rugby Football Union and South Africa Rugby are clients, and elite Beach Volleyball, Tennis, Ski, Water Polo, and Snowboarding athletes also make use of the technology as well as a number collegiate programs in the United States.
The PUSH system allows coaches to monitor an athlete’s work out in real-time no matter the locations. This allows the coach to offer immediate guidance and advice to the athlete. Coaches can build routines from exercises stored in the cloud and the workouts are then communicated to the athlete via an app.
At the core of the PUSH Pro System is an accelerometer band that then communicates through a dedicated Portal with interpersonal communication through the app.
Sensors in the accelerometer band tracks the movements/velocity, giving the athlete and coach real-time feedback.
